With the ever-growing popularity of email, instant messaging and text messages on cell phones, the art of writing letters is disappearing. However, getting a handwritten note is still a nice treat, and pretty, hand-designed stationery adds a special touch to those messages.
Making Rubber-stamped Letter Sheets
Materials:
- Copy paper
- Rubber stamps
- Inkpad
- Embossing powder
- Heat gun
Instructions
- Press the rubber stamp onto the inkpad. Place the stamp in the desired position on the paper, and press firmly.
- Sprinkle the embossing powder on the wet ink. Shake the excess powder onto another sheet of paper.
- Heat the powder with the heat gun until the powder melts, continually moving the gun to avoid scorching the paper.
- Trim the edges of the paper with edging scissors, if desired.
